Marshall Benson, B.A., Neuroscience & Behavior (Molecular Track)
Co-Founder / Solution Architect
Marshall founded Clinical Edge Consultants in 2019 after developing a custom CTMS (clinical trial management system) at a previous employer, in addition to custom web applications supporting clinical trial operations including a CRO monitor visit export reconciliation program that expedited data reviews, and patient enrollment prediction models.
Marshall now has over ten years’ experience developing and supporting advanced computer systems on the Microsoft Power Platform, with clients in vastly diverse business areas such as podcasting, project management, IT automation, and the public sector.
Outside of the professional sphere, he plays electric guitar in several bands and runs a home studio for recording local music acts in Austin, TX. When not preoccupied with those activities, he enjoys repairing electronics and raising chickens in his backyard.

Jeff joined Clinical Edge Consultants in 2019 and brought a deep portfolio of experience with him. With a strong academic background in both finance and molecular biology, Jeff launched his career in drug development with many early successes at various companies such as Theravance, Medivation, and BioMarin where he has led nonclinical operations group at the senior director level.
Jeff demonstrates a history of scientific and business leadership in drug development, from early discovery to late clinical development and late life cycle stages. He is passionate about integrating technology and best business practices to drive R&D operational excellence and has built an organic network of professionals who tap him for his expertise frequently.
Jeff has an advanced understanding of technology’s capabilities, with a second-nature operational mind.
He now lives in the outskirts of Salt Lake City, UT, with his husband and two children; in his spare time, he collects precious gemstones and plays classic arcade games.
